SIP Trunks
A Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Trunk is telephone service delivered over an internet connection instead of traditional phone lines. It can use the existing hardware for your On Premise/PBX system.
It is a cost-effective solution to paying for landlines, providing greater functionality in routing inbound calls to your main telephone numbers and providing direct telephone numbers for key staff. SIP trunks are the primary telephone service capable of supporting the e911 Ray Baum Act, delivering complete dispatchable address location to the PSAP.
