Account Executive - Rhode Island

Job Overview: The Account Executive position is responsible for generating sales for the company. We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Account Rep with proven experience selling telecommunications, audiovisual and security products and services in multiple verticals. The Account Executive will be responsible for managing a client book and proactively reaching out to ensure client satisfaction/retention while continuously hunting and closing new business. Some sales may come from existing customers, but it is more important for the Account Executive to pursue new leads and cultivates them into revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting sales quotas and loves the challenges that come with B2B prospecting in a highly competitive market.

Job Responsibilities:*
• Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
• Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
• Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
• Meet or exceeds sales quotas
• Present products to prospective clients
• Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers' dedication
• Maintain accurate information within the CRM database. Constantly update information about Activities, History, and Opportunities. Interface with a Sales Coordinator as needed to ensure accurate information. Specific measurable information includes: calls made; meetings held; new opportunities identified; quotes presented; quotes approved, and quotes lost.
• Ensure quotes (and all correspondence) are proofed and accurate prior to sending to the Customer to present a professional proposal.
• Facilitate the scheduling of approved projects with Operations staff. Be sure time lines, deadlines, and other important scheduling information is clearly communicated.
• Keep track of the project's status.
• Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs
• Contribute to new sales and marketing ideas to improve the company's image in the community, generate new leads, and increase sales.
• Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company's reputation
• Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills/Experience/Training:
• Bachelor's degree or greater; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of sales experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
• Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service role
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to read blue prints accurately.
• A degree of technical aptitude in order to clearly explain products and services to customers.
• Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
• Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (Sage 100 Contractor SQL) is a plus, Ability to learn other software as needed including but not limited to Visio, AutoCAD, MS Project, SharePoint Database software.

Connectivity Point Design and Installation has an immediate openings for a Structured Cabling Technician to perform the installation of commercial Network and Low Voltage Infrastructure wiring. Educate customers on the proper use of all installed equipment, and address questions or concerns of the customer.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Connectivity Point Design and Installation has an immediate opening for a Deployment Technician. This role supports both the Deployment, Service and Structured Cabling divisions as needed. In the role of Deployment Technician, you will provide network and point of sale hardware installation, maintenance and service throughout New England and New York State. This role will also trouble shoot and maintain commercial data, voice, fiber optic and paging, security, audio/visual and cabling systems for various customers. In this position you will need to educate customers on the proper use, services and maintenance of equipment, and address questions or concerns of the customer. This position works closely with the Director of Technology, Project Manager(s) and Customers to perform the onsite field service work requests and ensure their successful completion.
This job will require regional travel and scheduling flexibility including working mostly nights, some days, weekends and on-call work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Interact with customers who require staging and installation of their network and point of sale hardware at various locations regionally.
• Load customer provided image files on customer provided network equipment.
• Inventory and organize customer staging and storage area.
• Visit customer sites as scheduled to install customer hardware per specific instructions.
• Work with customer helpdesk and IT support to confirm hardware is on line and operating as expected
• Accurately document and report any issues encountered while onsite for installations.
• Collect and document hardware specific information such as serial numbers, quantity of devices, etc. as required and enter into customer inventory management system.
• Ensure the work is completed on time and satisfactorily.
• Ensure work is completed following customer specifications and to industry standards.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of cost estimations and project management for assigned projects from start to finish. This position ensures all the necessary information is conveyed to the appropriate lead technician, handling all change requests, and other project management duties.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review all project documents and be familiar with all aspects of the Project. Understand the materials to be installed and the work to be performed. Know how the codes and standards apply to the work to be performed.
• Work with Sales/Account Managers on startup documents and submittals. Provide details from the specification, drawings and our materials and labor as needed.
• Review materials, make updates and changes as needed. Verify colors, sizes, quantities.
• Work with operation on scheduling and man-power forecasts.
• Work with the materials manager on when to order materials, quantities to order and have available, delivery location and coordination.
• Make site visits throughout the job to evaluate the technicians and work quality.
• Work closely with the onsite lead technicians to recognize and capture any additional work. Prepare change orders as needed.
• Works with operations and Sales/Account Managers with close out documents. Make sure test results and as-builts are sent back to the office.
• Mentor, train field personnel on proper project management.
• Follows all company safety policies and procedures; and reports all accidents, hazards, and equipment problems.
• Attends and participates in various meetings within the company.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIRED:
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years as a successful Technician, BICSI Technician or RCDD.
