Account Executive - Rhode Island

Job Overview: The Account Executive position is responsible for generating sales for the company. We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Account Rep with proven experience selling telecommunications, audiovisual and security products and services in multiple verticals. The Account Executive will be responsible for managing a client book and proactively reaching out to ensure client satisfaction/retention while continuously hunting and closing new business. Some sales may come from existing customers, but it is more important for the Account Executive to pursue new leads and cultivates them into revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting sales quotas and loves the challenges that come with B2B prospecting in a highly competitive market.

Job Responsibilities:*
• Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
• Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
• Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
• Meet or exceeds sales quotas
• Present products to prospective clients
• Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers' dedication
• Maintain accurate information within the CRM database. Constantly update information about Activities, History, and Opportunities. Interface with a Sales Coordinator as needed to ensure accurate information. Specific measurable information includes: calls made; meetings held; new opportunities identified; quotes presented; quotes approved, and quotes lost.
• Ensure quotes (and all correspondence) are proofed and accurate prior to sending to the Customer to present a professional proposal.
• Facilitate the scheduling of approved projects with Operations staff. Be sure time lines, deadlines, and other important scheduling information is clearly communicated.
• Keep track of the project's status.
• Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs
• Contribute to new sales and marketing ideas to improve the company's image in the community, generate new leads, and increase sales.
• Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company's reputation
• Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills/Experience/Training:
• Bachelor's degree or greater; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of sales experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
• Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service role
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to read blue prints accurately.
• A degree of technical aptitude in order to clearly explain products and services to customers.
• Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
• Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (Sage 100 Contractor SQL) is a plus, Ability to learn other software as needed including but not limited to Visio, AutoCAD, MS Project, SharePoint Database software.

Deployment Technician

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Connectivity Point Design and Installation has an immediate opening for a Deployment Technician. This role supports both the Deployment, Service and Structured Cabling divisions as needed. In the role of Deployment Technician, you will provide network and point of sale hardware installation, maintenance and service throughout New England and New York State. This role will also trouble shoot and maintain commercial data, voice, fiber optic and paging, security, audio/visual and cabling systems for various customers. In this position you will need to educate customers on the proper use, services and maintenance of equipment, and address questions or concerns of the customer. This position works closely with the Director of Technology, Project Manager(s) and Customers to perform the onsite field service work requests and ensure their successful completion.
This job will require regional travel and scheduling flexibility including working mostly nights, some days, weekends and on-call work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Interact with customers who require staging and installation of their network and point of sale hardware at various locations regionally.
• Load customer provided image files on customer provided network equipment.
• Inventory and organize customer staging and storage area.
• Visit customer sites as scheduled to install customer hardware per specific instructions.
• Work with customer helpdesk and IT support to confirm hardware is on line and operating as expected
• Accurately document and report any issues encountered while onsite for installations.
• Collect and document hardware specific information such as serial numbers, quantity of devices, etc. as required and enter into customer inventory management system.
• Ensure the work is completed on time and satisfactorily.
• Ensure work is completed following customer specifications and to industry standards.
• Travel regionally and work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and on-call work.
• Work involves driving a company vehicle; using hand tools; Climbing ladders; using scissor lifts.
• Follows all company safety policies and procedures; and reports all accidents, hazards, and equipment problems.
• Attends and participates in various meetings within the company.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIRED:
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic to advanced technical skills with installation, service, troubleshooting and maintaining of commercial data, voice, fiber optic and paging, security, audio/visual and cabling systems.
• Solid level of understanding of PC components, PC hardware and associated software. A+ certification is a plus.
• Industry specific Manufacturer Certifications and BICSI training and/or Certifications preferred but not
required.
• A strong working knowledge of TIA and BICSI Standards; including trouble shooting and service preferred
but not required.
• Working knowledge of building codes, electrical codes, communication standards and installation.
• Ability to follow blueprints, notes and specifications to meets the job requirements.
• Basic written and verbal communications skills.

Payroll Specialist - Corporate Office Maine

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Connectivity Point Design & Installation is seeking a full-time Payroll Specialist to process and manage the company's payroll. The Payroll Specialist's responsibilities include collecting and reviewing employee information and working hours, calculating wages, preparing and processing employee payments, and maintaining accurate payroll records for approximately 190 employees in five different states. Preferred candidates must be deadline driven and have a solid knowledge of and ability to administer payroll and financial information following proper accounting principles. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage routine responsibilities both efficiently and accurately is a must.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Weekly time collection and processing of payroll, with appropriate payroll deductions, benefits and taxes, and all related reporting with proper accounting.
• Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of retroactive payments, shift differentials, bonuses, new hires and terminations.
• Process and file certified payrolls weekly with accuracy for multiple states while following the Davis-Bacon Act.
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
• Weekly timesheet entry and reconciliation in Sage.
• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
• Investigate and respond to all employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns in a timely manner with utmost professionalism and integrity.
• Maintain all confidential payroll records and documents.
• Conduct periodic audits of all payroll records.
• Process job hour and job costing reports in Sage for management.
• Work with the Director of Finance to ensure accurate payroll postings to the general ledger.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIRED:
• Proven experience as a payroll specialist with 3-4 years of payroll experience. An Associates or Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Related industry experience is also preferred but not required.
• Advanced knowledge of and ability to perform accounting and financial functions and analysis.
