Connectivity Point will once again sponsor the Safe Passage 5K to be held May 3, 2015, at Greely High School in Cumberland, Maine.
Safe Passage was founded by Hanley Denning, a native of Yarmouth, Maine, to help the children working in and around the Guatemala City garbage dump. Safe Passage provides nutrition, healthcare and education to over 550 children living in extreme poverty. Hanley Denning died in tragically in a car accident in 2007, but her dream lives on through Safe Passage and its supporters.
