Overview
In 2024, Connectivity Point Design and Installation completed a $1.0 million technology project for the Horry County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in Conway, South Carolina. This facility serves as a vital hub for emergency communications and operations, requiring advanced technology solutions.
The EOC is a 43,597-square-foot, hurricane-hardened facility designed to maintain emergency operations even during extreme weather conditions, ensuring critical communication and operational continuity.
Scope of Work
Connectivity Point installed:
• Data Cabling
Structured cabling for high-speed internet and communication across critical areas.
• Audio/Visual Systems
Integrated AV systems to support meetings, emergency response coordination, and operations.
Outcome
This project provided the EOC with a resilient, future-proof communication and AV infrastructure, enhancing Horry County’s ability to manage emergency situations efficiently.
