Amica Insurance, based in Lincoln, R.I., has named Connectivity Point as their nationwide, preferred installer for network cabling, sound masking, audio/visual equipment, and security systems.
Amica is not only known as the oldest mutual insurer of automobiles in the United States; the company is also known in the insurance industry for its financial strength and exceptional customer service. *
Connectivity Point also prides itself on exceptional customer service. Since 2009, we have worked hard to serve this customer and to increase the value we can provide to them.
We were first introduced to Amica through our Systimax (network cabling) representative. At the time, they were looking for a dependable network cabling partner to assist with a variety of installations, large and small. Connectivity Point was able to meet Amica's needs and as the relationship grew stronger, Amica felt confident in asking us to help them with additional services.
Connectivity Point is an authorized dealer/installer of Cambridge Sound Management's sound masking products, which are a standard for Amica, so it was a natural fit for us to begin installing equipment while installing the network cabling.
Audio/visual equipment was next. We installed flat-screen TVs for connection to laptops in conference rooms across the country. The challenge was finding a solution that would work for all Amica locations, both retrofit and new. With our 'design/build' capabilities, Connectivity Point worked with Amica and their architectural team to provide the desired solution. The work included TV installs, mounting bracket, HDMI and VGA cabling to input plate. Some locations required video switchers. We provided diagrams, part numbers and scope for the entire install including EC and GC.
Connectivity Point installed 10-12 sites initially and will be going into every branch to install (45+). CPDI is also helping with the installation of Amica's security equipment.
